Management Team
Steve Roberts, Founder & CEO
Prior to ShopText, Steve's marketing and
internet experience includes COO of McCann Erickson's $200 million
relationship marketing company MRM Partners, CFO of McCann's $650 million
marketing services companies and CFO of Modem Media (acquired by Digitas in
2004), where he led the company's IPO in 1999, and drove its profitable
growth to a run rate of $160 million in revenue. Prior to Modem Media,
Steve held several global and international P&L management positions at
United Technologies. Prior to joining UTC in 1990, Steve structured debt
financing for radio, paging, cable and newspaper acquisitions and leveraged
buyouts in the Corporate Finance Group of Continental Bank (now Bank of
America). Steve has an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.A.
from Middlebury College.

Amanda Moskowitz, VP, Client Services
Amanda has an extensive background in
media and analytics. Following her work as radio reporter and station Board
member, Amanda was the Supervisor of Primetime Audience Analysis at
ABC/Disney. She ran analytical projects cross-departmentally, focusing on
strategic analysis and planning for the Marketing, Sales & Programming
departments. Amanda received a BA from Brown University and an MBA from the
University of Chicago, where she was named a Polsky Entrepreneurial
Fellow.

Board of Directors
Michael Tunstall is co-founder and Managing Director of Bluevector LLC. He has experience in the technology industry as an engineer, investment banker, and private investor. He has been employed by the IBM Corporation, Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., Salomon Brothers Inc, and Credit Suisse First Boston. He lives in Connecticut.
Joe Josephson is a Partner in UNION SQUARE ADVISORS. Prior to joining Union Square, Mr. Josephson was a Senior Partner at Lazard Freres focusing on cross-border transactions in the technology sector. Prior to joining Lazard, he was a Managing Director in Mergers & Acquisitions in both the CSFB Technology Group and the DMG Technology Group. He led execution teams on numerous high-profile transactions, and his clients included Platinum Technology, the Gartner Group, Chiron, Siemens, Viag AG and NTT. Mr. Josephson began his career in Morgan Stanley’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group in New York in 1988. He subsequently moved to Hong Kong to run the firm’s M&A practice in non-Japan Asia. When Robert Greenhill left Morgan Stanley to become Chairman and CEO of Smith Barney (now Citigroup), he hired Mr. Josephson to run the firm’s Investment Banking Division in Asia. While serving in that role, Smith Barney lead-managed its first non-US Dollar denominated IPO (Qingling Motors), and Mr. Josephson advised numerous multinationals on their entry into the Chinese market, including the Sprint Corporation and Universal Studios. Mr. Josephson received an MBA from Columbia Business School (where he graduated first in his class of 500) and received his A.B. from Princeton University, Summa cum Laude.
Pauline Murphy is a Managing Director, Investments at Connecticut Innovations. Pauline has led CI’s investments in Environmental Energy Services, FMP Products, New Ortho Polymers, Premise Corporation and XLerant. She serves on the boards of Environmental Energy Services, FMP Products, ShopText, New Ortho Polymers and Xlerant is a board observer of CGI Pharmaceuticals. In addition to being responsible for initiating and closing deals, Pauline manages the investment associates and investment team support staff. Pauline joined CI with over ten years of experience in both manufacturing and service organizations. She was controller of an early-stage software development company and launched her career at Ernst & Young, LLP. She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut and is a registered certified public accountant in the state of Connecticut.
Adam is SVP and General Counsel of ScanScout, the leading in-stream online video advertising company. Adam has worked with innovative media and technology companies over the last 10 years in various leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer of ShopText, a mobile commerce and promtions platform. Prior to ShopText, he was General Counsel & Head of Corporate Development for MeMedia, the behavioral targeting firm. From 1998-2003, Adam was a member of the executive team at Razorfish, a leading digital agency, where he served as Managing Director of the company.s east coast region. Adam began his career as an associate at Morrison & Foerster LLP, the global law firm He received a J.D. degree from New York University and a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
